Nethradhama School of Optometry is a very renowned optometry college of Bangalore. This college was established in the year 2010 by Dr. Sri Ganesh who is also the founder of Nethradhama Subspecialty Clinic in 1994. The Nethradhama Subspeciality Clinic now has thrived into Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital which has many branches all over Bangalore. The school of optometry was formed by Dr. Sri Ganesh feeling the need of a good education for comprehensive study of vision system.
This optometry school is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science. The course is structured in a very simple way in order to make the foundation first and then move to the complex one. The students are filled with every detail of vision system and care that makes their knowledge complete. Teachers provide methods on comprehensive eye and vision care including refraction and dispensing, detection/diagnosis and management of ocular problems, and the rehabilitation of conditions of the visual system in a sensible and collective way.
Nethradhama School of Optometry sole focus is to offer Bachelors in Optometry education with much trainings and practices. Many students of this field can also be independent practitioners of optometrist so the school makes sure that no student leaves the school without having the broad knowledge in this subject. Optometry course is a course in the undergraduate degree of B.Sc. This course is of four years where one whole year is allocated for internship. The instructor teaches the students about the analysis, diagnosis, treatment, diseases relating to visual disorder and so on.
