Vagdevi Rural Educational Trust was established in 2002 by founder chairman Sri. D. Shivalingappa, former Secretary of Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Bangalore. Vagdevi School and College of Nursing is run by the Vagdevi Trust.
